1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 62J.26, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.7to read:
1.8 Subd. 6. Moratorium on mandates. Notwithstanding section 645.26 or any other
1.9law or rule of construction to the contrary, no law enacted after January 4, 2011, which
1.10enacts a mandated health benefit proposal, as defined in subdivision 1, shall take effect
1.11until January 1, 2016.
1.12EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective retroactively from January 4, 2011.
