1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. KENSINGTON AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
1.6$100,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2011 from the arts and cultural heritage fund
1.7to the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to the Kensington Area Historical Society
1.8for development of a museum and heritage center chronicling the history of the city of
1.9Kensington, its people, and the Kensington Runestone. This is a onetime appropriation
1.10and is available until expended.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
