1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. [97A.17] 1837 TREATY RIGHTS; MEETING REQUIREMENTS.
1.6The Department of Natural Resources must first meet with the Mille Lacs Fishery
1.7Input Group regarding 1837 treaty rights before meeting with Ojibwe bands or the Great
1.8Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission. A meeting under this paragraph is subject to
1.9the open meeting requirements of chapter 13D.
