1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. HIGHWAY APPROPRIATION AND BOND SALE.
1.6 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $5,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7account in the trunk highway fund to the commissioner of transportation for completing
1.8the east and west segments of marked Trunk Highway 610 between marked Trunk
1.9Highway 169 and marked Interstate Highway 94 in Hennepin County, including four
1.10lanes, three interchanges, two overpasses, and a railroad bridge.
1.11 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in subdivision 1 from the
1.12bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell
1.13and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $5,000,000 in the manner, on the terms,
1.14and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 167.50 to 167.52, and
1.15by the Minnesota Constitution, article XIV, section 11, at the times and in the amounts
1.16requested by the commissioner of transportation. The proceeds of the bonds, except
1.17accrued interest and any premium received from the sale of the bonds, must be deposited
1.18in the bond proceeds account in the trunk highway fund.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
