1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. TECHNOLOGY LEVY; LAKE SUPERIOR SCHOOL DISTRICT.
1.6Each year, Independent School District No. 381, Lake Superior, may levy an amount
1.7not to exceed $200 times the resident marginal cost pupil units of the district for that year.
1.8The proceeds of this levy must be used to purchase or lease instructional technology,
1.9including hardware, software, and other educational technology, and telecommunications
1.10and connectivity equipment.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for taxes payable in 2014 and later.
