1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to capital investment; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds;
1.3appropriating money for the Annandale Tactical Training Center.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. ANNANDALE TACTICAL TRAINING CENTER.
1.6    Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $164,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the city of Annandale to predesign,
1.8design, construct, furnish, and equip improvements in the tactical training center, including
1.9improvements to the indoor live-fire shoothouse for air quality and noise mitigation, a
1.10steel breaching door, moving target systems within the shoothouse and outdoor range, and
1.11a 40-foot rappelling tower for high angle fire, rescue, and police tactical training.
1.12    Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated by subdivision 1 from the
1.13bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.14bonds of the state in an amount up to $164,000 in the manner, on the terms, and with
1.15the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.16Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
