1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 120A.22, subdivision 1, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subdivision 1. Parental responsibility. The parent of a child is primarily
1.8responsible for assuring that the child acquires knowledge and skillsthat are essential
1.9for effective citizenship.
1.10EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
