1.4proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16A.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [16A.37] NONPROFIT RECIPIENTS OF STATE APPROPRIATIONS
1.7OR GRANTS.
1.8This section applies to a nonprofit corporation that receives a direct appropriation
1.9of state funds or that receives a grant of state funds. As a condition of receiving the
1.10appropriation or grant, the nonprofit corporation must agree to disclose to the state the
1.11name, position title, and salary of each employee who receives an annual salary of
1.12$100,000 or more. Information received by the state under this section is public data.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment
1.14and applies to an appropriation made or a grant received after that date.
