1.3increase for certain facilities in Otter Tail County;amending Minnesota Statutes
1.42010, section 256B.434, by adding a subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 256B.434, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 4i. Rate increase for certain facilities in Otter Tail County. Effective July
1.91, 2011, operating payment rates of two nursing facilities located in Otter Tail County, one
1.10licensed for 136 beds and the other licensed for 105 beds, that are reimbursed under this
1.11section, section 256B.441, or any other section, shall be increased to be equal, for a RUGS
1.12rate with a weight of 1.00, to the peer group 1 median rate for the same RUGS weight.
1.13The percentage of the operating payment rate for each facility to be case-mix adjusted
1.14shall be equal to the percentage that is case-mix adjusted in that facility's June 30, 2011,
1.15operating payment rate. This subdivision shall apply only if it results in a rate increase.
