1.2relating to education; appropriating money for equity in telecommunications
1.3access;amending Laws 2013, chapter 116, article 6, section 12, subdivision 5.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Laws 2013, chapter 116, article 6, section 12, subdivision 5, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subd. 5. Equity in telecommunications access. For equity in telecommunications
1.8access:
1.12If the appropriation amount is insufficient, the commissioner shall reduce the
1.13reimbursement rate in Minnesota Statutes, section125B.26, subdivisions 4 and 5, and the
1.14revenue for fiscal years 2014 and 2015 shall be prorated.
1.15Any balance in the first year does not cancel but is available in the second year.
1.16The base budget for fiscal years 2016 and 2017 is $9,750,000 each year.
