1.2relating to transportation; airports; requiring the commissioner of transportation
1.3and Metropolitan Airports Commission to plan airport development in
1.4collaboration with St. Cloud and Rochester airport boards.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. JOINT AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT PLANNING.
1.7The commissioner of transportation and the Metropolitan Airports Commission,
1.8in collaboration with the Rochester Airport Commission and the St. Cloud Airport
1.9Advisory Board, shall make joint plans and recommendations concerning effective and
1.10efficient airport development at each airport. The plans and recommendations may
1.11include the development of public ground transportation between airports. The plans
1.12and recommendations must be submitted to the chairs and ranking minority members of
1.13the house of representatives and senate committees and divisions with jurisdiction over
1.14transportation by April 15, 2015.
1.15EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
