1.3Behavioral Health Hospital;amending Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter
1.49, article 10, section 3, subdivision 5.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter 9, article 10, section 3, subdivision
1.75, is amended to read:
1.9Transfer Authority Related to
1.10State-Operated Services. Money
1.11appropriated for state-operated services
1.12may be transferred between fiscal years
1.13of the biennium with the approval of the
1.14commissioner of management and budget.
1.19Utilization of State-Operated Services
1.20Account. Up to $599,000 of the funds
1.21available in miscellaneous accounts
1.22associated with closed regional treatment
1.23centers shall transfer to the state-operated
2.1services account established under Minnesota
2.2Statutes, section246.18, subdivision 8 .
2.3By June 30, 2013, $3,200,000 must be
2.4transferred from this account to the general
2.5fund.
2.6State-Operated Services Mental Health
2.7Housing and Other Supports. $500,000
2.8in fiscal year 2012 and $1,000,000 in
2.9fiscal year 2013 are appropriated from
2.10the account established under Minnesota
2.11Statutes, section246.18, subdivision 8 , for
2.12housing and other supports for persons with
2.13mental illness and other complex conditions.
2.14These appropriations are onetime. For the
2.152014-2015 biennium, base level funding for
2.16this activity is $1,000,000 each year from the
2.17general fund. Notwithstanding any contrary
2.18provision in this article, this paragraph
2.19expires June 30, 2015.
2.20Community Behavioral Health
2.21Hospital-Willmar. The commissioner
2.22shall not close the Community Behavioral
2.23Health Hospital-Willmar beforeMarch 31,
2.242012 June 30, 2014.
2.25Base Adjustment. The general fund base
2.26is increased by $1,000,000 in each of fiscal
2.27years 2014 and 2015.
