1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. LEASE LEVY; SATELLITE TRANSPORTATION HUB FOR
1.6ROSEMOUNT-APPLE VALLEY-EAGAN SCHOOL DISTRICT.
1.7Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 126C.40, subdivision 1, Independent
1.8School District No. 196, Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan, may lease a satellite
1.9transportation hub under Minnesota Statutes, section 126C.40, subdivision 1, if the district
1.10can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the commissioner of education that the satellite
1.11transportation hub will result in a significant financial savings. Levy authority under
1.12this section shall not exceed the total levy authority under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.13126C.40, subdivision 1, paragraph (e).
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective for taxes payable in 2015 and later.
