1.3Statutes 2010, section 97B.001, subdivision 7.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 97B.001, subdivision 7, is amended to read:
1.6 Subd. 7. Taking with firearms in certain areas. (a) A person may not take a wild
1.7animal with a firearm within 500 feet of a building occupied by a human or livestock
1.8without the written permission of the owner, occupant, or lessee:
1.9(1) on another person's private land; or
1.10(2) on a public right-of-way.
1.11(b)A No person may not take a wild animal with shoot a firearm without the
1.12permission of the owner, occupant, or lessee, within 500 feet of a stockade or corral
1.13containing livestock.
1.14(c) A person may not take a wild animal on any land where the person is prohibited
1.15from entering by this section.
