1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 144.413, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
1.7 Subd. 2. Public place. "Public place" means any enclosed, indoor area used by the
1.8general public, including, but not limited to, restaurants; bars; any other food or liquor
1.9establishment; retail stores and other commercial establishments; educational facilities
1.10other than public schools, as defined in section120A.05, subdivisions 9, 11, and 13 ;
1.11hospitals; nursing homes; auditoriums; theaters; arenas; meeting rooms; and common
1.12areas of rental apartment buildings.
1.13 Sec. 2. REPEALER.
1.14Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 144.4167, subdivision 9, is repealed.
1.15EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
