1.2relating to public health; requiring labeling of certain human DNA vaccines and
1.3informed consent for administration of those vaccines;proposing coding for new
1.4law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 145.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [145.669] HUMAN DNA VACCINES.
1.7(a) Vaccines manufactured using human fetal or embryonic cell lines, proteins,
1.8deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), recombinant DNA, monoclonal antibodies, or any other
1.9components derived from elective abortion or using cell lines derived from electively
1.10aborted tissue must be clearly labeled as being derived from or manufactured using
1.11electively aborted human fetal or embryonic tissue.
1.12(b) Vaccines required to be labeled as "derived from or manufactured using
1.13electively aborted human fetal or embryonic tissue" under paragraph (a) shall not be
1.14administered to a patient without written, informed consent.
