1.2relating to housing; appropriating money for a grant to Open Access Connection
1.3to provide free voice mail services.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6$70,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $70,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated from
1.7the general fund to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a grant to Open Access
1.8Connection to provide free voice mail services for homeless and low-income people so
1.9that they have a reliable and consistent communication tool to aid in their search for
1.10affordable housing and their search for and maintenance of jobs so that they have income
1.11to maintain affordable housing. This service shall be provided in the metropolitan area
1.12and through a toll-free number in greater Minnesota.
