1.2relating to education; allowing retired teachers to work as behind-the-wheel
1.3instructors;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 122A.48, subdivision 3.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 122A.48, subdivision 3, is amended to read:
1.6 Subd. 3. Employment as substitute. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision
1.72, a teacher who has entered into an agreement for termination of services and withdrawal
1.8from active teaching service with an early retirement incentive may be employed as a
1.9substitute teacher, behind-the-wheel instructor, or coach after retirement.
1.10EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
