1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6$....... is appropriated from the environmental fund to the commissioner of the
1.7Pollution Control Agency for the purchase of a mobile air monitoring laboratory that:
1.8(1) continuously samples ambient air for, at a minimum, carbon monoxide, sulfur
1.9dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter less than 2.5 microns, total suspended
1.10particulates, and air toxics;
1.11(2) analyzes the samples in near real-time and electronically transmits the data; and
1.12(3) continuously records meteorological data, including wind speed and direction,
1.13relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, and temperature.
