1.2relating to transportation; highways; amending certain legislative routes
1.3of the trunk highway system; removing certain legislative routes from the
1.4trunk highway system;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.115,
1.5subdivision 229, by adding a subdivision.
1.6BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.115, subdivision 229, is amended to
1.8read:
1.9 Subd. 229. Route No. 298. Beginning at a point on Route No. 21 in the city of
1.10Faribault; thence extending in a southerlyand easterly direction through the grounds of
1.11the Minnesota State Academy for the Blind, the Faribault Regional Treatment Center, and
1.12the Minnesota Correctional Facility - Faribault to a point on Route No. 323.
1.13 Sec. 2. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 161.115, is amended by adding a subdivision
1.14to read:
1.15 Subd. 270. Route No. 339. Beginning at a point on Route No. 45, thence extending
1.16easterly to a point on the boundary line between the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
1.17 Sec. 3. LEGISLATIVE ROUTE NO. 235 REMOVED.
1.18(a) Minnesota Statutes, section 161.115, subdivision 166, is repealed effective the
1.19day after the commissioner of transportation receives a copy of the agreement between
1.20the commissioner and the governing body of Otter Tail County to transfer jurisdiction of
1.21Legislative Route No. 235 and notifies the revisor of statutes under paragraph (b).
1.22(b) The revisor of statutes shall delete the route identified in paragraph (a) from
1.23Minnesota Statutes when the commissioner of transportation sends notice to the revisor
2.1electronically or in writing that the conditions required to transfer the route have been
2.2satisfied.
2.3 Sec. 4. LEGISLATIVE ROUTE NO. 256 REMOVED.
2.4(a) Minnesota Statutes, section 161.115, subdivision 187, is repealed effective the
2.5day after the commissioner of transportation receives a copy of the agreement between the
2.6commissioner and the governing body of Blue Earth County to transfer jurisdiction of
2.7Legislative Route No. 256 and notifies the revisor of statutes under paragraph (b).
2.8(b) The revisor of statutes shall delete the route identified in paragraph (a) from
2.9Minnesota Statutes when the commissioner of transportation sends notice to the revisor
2.10electronically or in writing that the conditions required to transfer the route have been
2.11satisfied.
