A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled
"The state school aid act of 1979,"
by amending section 161 (MCL 388.1761), as amended by 1990 PA 207.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 161. A school official or member of a board or other
person who neglects or refuses to do or perform an act required by
this act or who violates or knowingly permits or consents to the
violation
of this act is guilty of a misdemeanor
, punishable by
imprisonment
for not more than 90 days, 1
year or a fine of not
more
than $1,500.00, $15,000.00,
or both.
