SENATE BILL No. 775

 

 

February 9, 2016, Introduced by Senators HERTEL, BIEDA, GREGORY, YOUNG, WARREN, HOPGOOD, HOOD, SCHMIDT, KNEZEK and BOOHER and referred to the Committee on Transportation.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 2001 PA 142, entitled

 

"Michigan memorial highway act,"

 

(MCL 250.1001 to 250.2080) by adding section 5a.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 5a. The portion of highway US-127 beginning at exit 56 in

 

Ingham County and extending south to the Jackson County line shall

 

be known as the "Trooper Craig Scott Memorial Highway".

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

 

after the date it is enacted into law.
