SENATE BILL No. 639

 

 

October 31, 2017, Introduced by Senators HOPGOOD, HERTEL, WARREN and BIEDA and referred to the Committee on Natural Resources.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

 

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

 

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 3135.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 3135. Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, a

 

person shall not apply manure, fertilizer as defined in section

 

8501, or waste from livestock operations to frozen or snow-covered

 

soils.
