     A bill to amend 1939 PA 280, entitled

 

"The social welfare act,"

 

(MCL 400.1 to 400.119b) by adding section 57w.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 57w. A recipient shall not use the cash assistance

 

benefit on the Michigan bridge card to purchase a beverage in a

 

beverage container that is subject to a deposit under 1976 IL 1,

 

MCL 445.571 to 445.576.
