A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled
"The code of criminal procedure,"
by amending sections 16l and 16p of chapter XVII (MCL 777.16l and
777.16p), section 16p as amended by 2008 PA 467.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 CHAPTER XVII
2 Sec. 16l. (1) This chapter applies to the following felonies
3 enumerated in chapter 750 of the Michigan Compiled Laws:

1 (2) For a violation of section 213a(3)(a) of the Michigan
2 penal code, 1931 PA 328, MCL 750.213a, determine the offense
3 class, offense variable level, and prior record variable level
4 based on the underlying offense.
5 Sec. 16p. This chapter applies to the following felonies
6 enumerated in chapter 750 of the Michigan Compiled Laws:
