HOUSE BILL NO. 5458

A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled

"Public health code,"

(MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding section 5113a.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 5113a. This code or rules promulgated under this code shall not be construed to require an individual to receive a vaccine for COVID-19 if the individual, or if the individual is a minor, the parent, guardian, or person in loco parentis of the individual, prepares a written statement with supporting documentation that the individual has previously been infected with SARS-CoV-2 as indicated by a positive antibody test result.

Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 5457 (request no. 04353'21 a) of the 101st Legislature is enacted into law.
