HOUSE BILL No. 5227

 

December 14, 2011, Introduced by Reps. Nathan, Jackson, Womack, Tlaib, Stapleton, Stallworth, Talabi, Howze, Durhal and Santana and referred to the Committee on Appropriations.

 

     A bill to amend 1971 PA 140, entitled

 

"Glenn Steil state revenue sharing act of 1971,"

 

(MCL 141.901 to 141.921) by adding section 13e.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 13e. Any other provision of this act or law to the

 

contrary notwithstanding, there is appropriated to a city with a

 

population of more than 650,000 according to the most recent

 

federal decennial census the sum of $220,000,000.00 for payments

 

previously authorized but not paid under this act.
