March 21, 2019, Introduced by Reps. Hertel, Kuppa, Sabo, Gay-Dagnogo, Kennedy, Pagan, Hope, Hood, Shannon, LaGrand, Ellison, Stone, Sowerby, Cambensy, Robinson, Wittenberg and Jones and referred to the Committee on Agriculture.

 

     A bill to amend 1994 PA 451, entitled

 

"Natural resources and environmental protection act,"

 

(MCL 324.101 to 324.90106) by adding section 3135.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 3135. Notwithstanding any other provision of this act, a

 

person shall not apply manure, fertilizer as that term is defined

 

in section 8501, or waste from livestock operations to frozen or

 

snow-covered soils.
