A bill to define extraordinary medical measures for purposes of determining fetal viability under section 28 of article I of the state constitution of 1963.

the people of the state of michigan enact:

Sec. 1. As used in section 28 of article I of the state constitution of 1963, "extraordinary medical measures" means interventions, therapies, and professional services that are not commonly rendered or recognized throughout this state's neonatal intensive care inpatient facilities as supporting premature births.
