HOUSE BILL No. 4062

 

January 22, 2009, Introduced by Rep. Lemmons and referred to the Committee on Urban Policy.

 

     A bill to repeal 1999 PA 212, entitled

 

"An act to restrict certain governmental entities from requiring

individuals to reside within certain geographic areas or specified

distances or travel times from their place of employment as a

condition of employment or promotion,"

 

(MCL 15.601 to 15.603).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. 1999 PA 212, MCL 15.601 to 15.603, is

 

repealed.
