HOUSE BILL No. 4045

     A bill to amend 1990 PA 187, entitled

 

"The pupil transportation act,"

 

(MCL 257.1801 to 257.1877) by adding section 22.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 22. A school bus purchased by a school on or after the

 

effective date of the amendatory act that added this section shall

 

be equipped with 1 safety belt for each pupil being transported by

 

the school bus.
