HOUSE BILL No. 4045

 

January 13, 2011, Introduced by Reps. MacMaster, Shirkey, Tyler, Genetski and Somerville and referred to the Committee on Regulatory Reform.

 

     A bill to amend 1980 PA 299, entitled

 

"Occupational code,"

 

by amending section 205 (MCL 339.205).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 205. (1) The department shall promulgate rules to

 

implement articles 1 to 6 and rules which are necessary and

 

appropriate to enable the department to fulfill its role under this

 

act.

 

     (2) Notwithstanding any provision of this act, beginning the

 

effective date of the amendatory act that added this subsection,

 

the department shall not promulgate any additional rules under

 

authority of this act.
