Summary

Authorizing the State Superintendent of Schools to declare a prolonged state of emergency for an event that prevents regular, in-person attendance at a public school for at least 14 consecutive school days, subject to certain requirements; establishing that if an emergency threatens a particular school within a local system the State Superintendent may declare a prolonged state of emergency for that school; requiring the State Board to adopt certain regulations relating to a prolonged state of emergency; etc.
