2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Carl Wayne Miller of Shelbyville, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on October 14, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Carl Miller was born on May 21, 1948 in Mattoon; | ||||||
6 | his parents were George W. and Irene E. Miller; he married | ||||||
7 | Nancy Byers on May 31, 1969 in Mattoon; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Carl Miller was a manufacturing engineer at Essex | ||||||
9 | and General Cable for many years until his retirement; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Carl Miller was a member of the Church of Christ | ||||||
11 | in Shelbyville; he was also a member of the Armstrong Society | ||||||
12 | and served as a Shelby County Precinct Committeeman; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Carl Miller enjoyed woodworking, working on the | ||||||
14 | farm, his tractors, and enjoying the woodlands; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Carl Miller is survived by his wife, Nancy Miller; | ||||||
16 | his children, Bruce (Laura) Miller, Keely (Kevin) Roy, and | ||||||
17 | Brian Alex Miller (Cecilia Ramos); his brother, Glenn W. | ||||||
18 | (Karin) Miller; and his grandchildren, Brianna Roy-Rankin, | ||||||
19 | Jarron Roy, Jackson Miller, Kalen Roy, and Reagan Miller; | ||||||
20 | therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Carl Wayne Miller; and | ||||||
4 | be it further

5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
