| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Vivian Marie Johnson-Avery of | ||||||
| 4 | Springfield, who passed away on November 13, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Vivian Johnson-Avery was born in 1950; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Vivian Johnson-Avery was a member of St. John AME | ||||||
| 7 | Church in Springfield; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Vivian Johnson-Avery is survived by her husband, | ||||||
| 9 | David Avery; her daughter, Shalanda (Michael) Gaines; her | ||||||
| 10 | stepdaughters, Jeanne Avery, and Danesha (Carl) Little; her | ||||||
| 11 | grandchildren, Amir Upshaw, Mychael Gaines, Trinitee Rouse, | ||||||
| 12 | Jordan Little, and Ariana Little; her sisters, Dorothy | ||||||
| 13 | (Nathaniel) Gibson, Vickie Johnson, and Charlotte Johnson; her | ||||||
| 14 | brothers, James (Ruby) Johnson, Charles (Joyce) Johnson, and | ||||||
| 15 | Robert Johnson; and countless family and friends; therefore, be | ||||||
