2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Helen M. Belt of Carlinville, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on November 1, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Helen Belt was born in Newport, Arkansas to | ||||||
6 | Charles C. and Esther Taylor White on January 27, 1934; she | ||||||
7 | married Billy Belt; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Helen Belt was a homemaker; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Helen Belt enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, | ||||||
10 | cooking, reading, and horseback riding; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Helen Belt was preceded in death by her husband, | ||||||
12 | Billy; her parents; her son, Paul Neely; and her grandchildren, | ||||||
13 | Paul Neely III, Brandy Neely, and Billy Neely; and
| ||||||
14 | WHEREAS, Helen Belt is survived by her sons, Merle (Vickie) | ||||||
15 | Neely, David Neely, and Timothy (Andrea) Neely; her daughters, | ||||||
16 | Linda (Dale) Reels, Lisa (John) Katava, and Billie Jo (Gregory) | ||||||
17 | Centers; her grandchildren, Nikki, Melinda, Dawn, Dale, John, | ||||||
18 | James "Butch", Billy, Erica, Greg, Breah, and Colton; 25 | ||||||
19 | great-grandchildren; and her brother, Albert (Kathy) Allen; | ||||||

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Helen M. Belt, and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
