2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Verna Darlene Schuette, who passed away | ||||||
4 | on August 30, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Verna Schuette was born on April 21, 1942 in | ||||||
6 | Juneau, Wisconsin; her parents were Gaylord Hallie LeMoine and | ||||||
7 | Verna Lorraine Long; she married John Henry Schuette on March | ||||||
8 | 28, 1964 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Reedsburg, | ||||||
9 | Wisconsin; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Verna Schuette and her husband relocated to | ||||||
11 | McHenry in 1970 and resided in Johnsburg; she was an elementary | ||||||
12 | school teacher for the McHenry and Johnsburg school districts | ||||||
13 | for over three decades; she was also a hair dresser and a | ||||||
14 | dedicated Sunday school teacher and missionary; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Verna Schuette was preceded in death by her | ||||||
16 | father, Gaylord LeMoine, and her brother, Richard LeMoine; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Verna Schuette is survived by her husband, John; | ||||||
18 | her children, Jackie (Alan) Martin, Kathy (Joseph) Smart, | ||||||
19 | Stephen (Nicole) Schuette, and Daniel Schuette; her | ||||||
20 | grandchildren, Danielle (William) Barber, Chloe Smart, Lincoln | ||||||
21 | Smart, Vincent Smart, Josephine Schuette, and Caleb Schuette; |

1 | her mother, Lorraine Long; her brothers, Lyle (Ella Mae) | ||||||
2 | LeMoine, Ronnie (Linda) LeMoine, and Gene (Judy) LeMoine; three | ||||||
3 | aunts; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
6 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Verna Darlene | ||||||
7 | Schuette; and be it further

8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
9 | presented to the family of Verna Schuette as an expression of | ||||||
10 | our sympathy.
