| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Harold S. Gunnerson of East Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on October 4, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson was born on December 7, 1924 in | ||||||
| 6 | Moline; his parents were Arthur and Hazel Loding Gunnerson; he | ||||||
| 7 | married Betty J. Groth on December 15, 1946 in Moline; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson proudly served in the United | ||||||
| 9 | States Marine Corps during World War II; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson farmed in the Alpha area in his | ||||||
| 11 | younger years; he later worked in maintenance for Deere and | ||||||
| 12 | Company in Moline until his retirement in 1987; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson was a member of the Thor Lodge #9 | ||||||
| 14 | Independent Order of Vikings in Moline; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson enjoyed woodworking and was very | ||||||
| 16 | skilled with making beautiful hutches and cabinets; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 18 | parents; his wife, Betty; his daughter-in-law, Vicki | ||||||
| 19 | Gunnerson; and his brothers, Arthur and Dale Gunnerson; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Harold Gunnerson is survived by his son, Jerry | ||||||
| 2 | Gunnerson; his grandson, Seth Gunnerson; his sister, Carol | ||||||
| 3 | Spore; and his brother, Richard (Lovadee) Gunnerson; | ||||||
| 4 | therefore, be it

| 5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Harold S. Gunnerson; | ||||||
| 8 | and be it further

| 9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
