| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Maxine (Massey) Clark of Brighton, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on December 24, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Maxine Clark was born in Weed, New Mexico to Floyd | ||||||
| 6 | and Ruby Massey on December 25, 1934; she married Kenneth Clark | ||||||
| 7 | in Oceanside, California on July 22, 1953; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Maxine Clark served as a United States Marine | ||||||
| 9 | Corporal during the Korean War; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Maxine Clark was preceded in death by her parents; | ||||||
| 11 | her sister, Pete Massey; her brothers, Sonny Massey and David | ||||||
| 12 | Massey; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Maxine Clark is survived by her husband, Kenneth; | ||||||
| 14 | her daughters, Linda (Dennis) Sparrow and Annette Carlisle; her | ||||||
| 15 | sons, David Clark and Daniel Clark; her six grandchildren; her | ||||||
| 16 | eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Patsy (Bob) Johnson; | ||||||
| 17 | and her brother, Jerry (Debbie) Massey; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 19 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 20 | Maxine (Massey) Clark and extend our sincere condolences to her | ||||||

| 1 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
