| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Kenneth Gerald "Kenny" Vaughn of | ||||||
| 4 | Champaign, who passed away on September 10, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Vaughn was born on November 16, 1941 in | ||||||
| 6 | Champaign; his parents were Joseph R. Vaughn and Bertha Koss | ||||||
| 7 | Vaughn; he married Linda Kay Cox Vaughn on September 9, 1961; | ||||||
| 8 | and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Vaughn was the owner-operator of Hayes | ||||||
| 10 | Drilling Company for 47 years; he was highly regarded for his | ||||||
| 11 | expertise in the industry and his excellence in customer | ||||||
| 12 | service and took pride in remembering specific details of every | ||||||
| 13 | job; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Vaughn was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 15 | parents and his brother; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Vaughn is survived by his wife, Linda Cox | ||||||
| 17 | Vaughn; his children, Tami Vaughn Currid and Marc (Susan) | ||||||
| 18 | Vaughn; his grandsons, Cameron Vaughn Currid and Kaleb Vaughn; | ||||||
| 19 | his granddaughter, Andrea (Randy) Shaw; two | ||||||
| 20 | great-grandchildren; his brother; and three sisters; | ||||||
| 21 | therefore, be it

| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Kenneth Gerald "Kenny" | ||||||
| 4 | Vaughn; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
