| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Delmore Harris of North Chicago, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on August 4, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Delmore Harris was born on November 4, 1952 in | ||||||
| 6 | Mound Bayou, Mississippi; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Delmore Harris worked for R. Lavin & Sons and most | ||||||
| 8 | recently at the North Chicago Public Works; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Delmore Harris is survived by his wife, Mildred | ||||||
| 10 | Williams-Harris; his daughters, Iris (Marcel) Wallace and | ||||||
| 11 | Valerie and Latoya Harris; eight grandchildren; six sisters; | ||||||
| 12 | one sister-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; and many nieces, | ||||||
| 13 | nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be | ||||||
| 14 | it

| 15 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 16 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 17 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Delmore Harris; and be | ||||||
| 18 | it further
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to the family of Delmore Harris as an expression of | ||||||
