2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of John L. Fullmer Jr. of Milan, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on July 29, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, John Fullmer Jr. was born in Le Claire, Iowa to | ||||||
6 | John L. Sr. and Virginia McCaulaey Fullmer on May 10, 1937; he | ||||||
7 | served in the United States Army during the Korean War; he | ||||||
8 | married Evelyn Muhleman Maxwell in Moline on December 12, 1997; | ||||||
9 | and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, John Fullmer Jr. was employed as a supervisor at | ||||||
11 | Alcoa for 32 years; and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, John Fullmer Jr. was a member of Buffalo Bill | ||||||
13 | American Legion Post #347 in LeClaire, Iowa; he enjoyed | ||||||
14 | bowling, playing cards, antiquing, quilting, gardening, | ||||||
15 | fishing, and playing golf; he also enjoyed working on cars and | ||||||
16 | drag racing in his youth; and

17 | WHEREAS, John Fullmer Jr. was preceded in death by his | ||||||
18 | parents and a sister; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, John Fullmer Jr. is survived by his wife, Evelyn; | ||||||
20 | his children, Susan Fullmer (Tom Brown) and
Steven (Laura) |

1 | Fullmer; his grandchildren, Jacob Fullmer, Jacob Maxwell, and | ||||||
2 | Ryan Maxwell; five great-grandchildren; his stepson, Tom | ||||||

4 | and Wilford Fullmer; and numerous other siblings; therefore, be | ||||||

6 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
7 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
8 | John L. Fullmer Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
9 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||

11 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
