2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Melissa Lynn Kellerhals of Paxton, who | ||||||
4 | passed away on July 10, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals was born on May 5, 1979 in | ||||||
6 | Gibson City; her parents were Ray and Linda Kellerhals; and
| ||||||
7 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals was a 1997 graduate of | ||||||
8 | Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School; she attended Columbia College | ||||||
9 | in Chicago and Parkland College in Champaign; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals was an assistant director for | ||||||
11 | group homes for developmentally disabled adults; she also | ||||||
12 | worked at Heartland Healthcare Center in Paxton; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals was a very active member of the | ||||||
14 | Hope Vineyard Church of Paxton, where she served as a youth | ||||||
15 | leader and played in the church band; she enjoyed music and | ||||||
16 | singing; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals was preceded in death by her | ||||||
18 | brother, Scott Kellerhals, and her grandfathers; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Melissa Kellerhals is survived by her parents; her |

1 | son, Ethan Perry; her brother, Michael Kellerhals; her maternal | ||||||
2 | grandmother, Doris Stamm; her paternal grandmother, Louise | ||||||
3 | Kellerhals; her special sister, DeDe Wood; and several aunts, | ||||||
4 | uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

5 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
6 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
7 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Melissa Lynn | ||||||
8 | Kellerhals; and be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Melissa Kellerhals as an expression | ||||||
11 | of our sympathy.
