| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Donald G. Knowlton of Genoa City, | ||||||
| 4 | Wisconsin, who passed away on June 27, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Donald Knowlton was born on February 6, 1935 in | ||||||
| 6 | Barron, Wisconsin; his parents were Duane and Ida Knowlton; he | ||||||
| 7 | married Mary Beall on October 30, 1955 in Mendota; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Donald Knowlton worked as a lineman and service | ||||||
| 9 | technician for GTE for 43 years until his retirement in 1993; | ||||||
| 10 | he was also a volunteer fireman for the Richmond Fire | ||||||
| 11 | Department for over 20 years; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Donald Knowlton was a member of the Richmond Lions | ||||||
| 13 | Club, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Genoasnowers Snowmobile | ||||||
| 14 | Club; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Donald Knowlton was preceded in death by his wife, | ||||||
| 16 | Mary; his parents; his daughter-in-law, Cindi Knowlton; and his | ||||||
| 17 | sisters, Charlotte Manning, Janet Blackwell, and Connie | ||||||
| 18 | Drummer; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Donald Knowlton is survived by his sons, Rick | ||||||
| 20 | (Mariann) Knowlton, Ron (Debra) Knowlton, and Rob (Marcy) | ||||||

| 1 | Knowlton; his grandchildren, Jennifer Osborne, Brian and | ||||||
| 2 | Bradley Knowlton, Amanda Cunningham, Gail Beyer, and Donnie, | ||||||
| 3 | Carrie, and Robbie Knowlton; 13 great-grandchildren; his | ||||||
| 4 | sisters, Marlene Sloan, Marilyn (Ron) Hopps, Kathie (Kent) | ||||||
| 5 | Biederstedt, Barb Heinzeroth, and Bev (Jim) Muzzarelli; and his | ||||||
| 6 | brothers, Delbert (Geneva) Knowlton, Pete (Linda) Knowlton, | ||||||

| 11 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Donald G. Knowlton; | ||||||
| 12 | and be it further
