2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Genevieve Frances Michel of Woodstock, | ||||||
4 | who passed away on July 2, 2016; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was born in St. Louis, Missouri | ||||||
6 | to Anthony Lowe and Mary Kemp on July 3, 1946; she lived in | ||||||
7 | Wonder Lake until moving to the Valley Hi Nursing Home in | ||||||
8 | Woodstock 13 years ago; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel worked in Quality Control for the | ||||||
10 | Prem Magnetics in Johnsburg; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was involved with St. Patrick | ||||||
12 | Catholic Church in Hartland through its ministry with Valley Hi | ||||||
13 | Nursing Home; she enjoyed gardening, collecting Angels, and | ||||||
14 | playing BINGO; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel was preceded in death by her | ||||||
16 | parents and by her son, David Evans; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Genevieve Michel is survived by her daughter, | ||||||
18 | Justine (Shaun) Baker; her son, Bruce Michel; her grandson, | ||||||
19 | Maxwell Baker; her sister, Christine (Scott) Gordon; her | ||||||
20 | brother, William Lowe; many nieces and nephews; and her family |

2 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
3 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
4 | Genevieve Frances Michel, and extend our sincere condolences to | ||||||
5 | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | ||||||
6 | further

7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
