2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Dennis Wayne Durham of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on August 18, 2018; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Dennis Durham was born in Rock Island to Eldo and | ||||||
6 | Florence (Hoffman) Durham on April 11, 1945; he married Ilene | ||||||
7 | Kay Buckrop in Lancaster, Missouri on May 29, 1964; and
| ||||||
8 | WHEREAS, Dennis Durham served in the United States Navy for | ||||||
9 | four years and then served eight years in the United States Air | ||||||
10 | Force before he was medically retired; he then worked at the | ||||||
11 | Rock Island Arsenal; after retirement, he worked at Target in | ||||||
12 | Davenport for four years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Dennis Durham was a member of the Redeemer | ||||||
14 | Lutheran Church in Bettendorf and the Quad City Chapter No. 2 | ||||||
15 | of DAV; he loved music, especially oldies, and fishing; and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Dennis Durham is survived by his wife, Ilene; his | ||||||
17 | children and their spouses, Dale and Julie Durham, Dwayne and | ||||||
18 | Jenny Durham, LeAndrea and Troy Scott, and Kimberly and Jason | ||||||
19 | Mays; his six grandchildren; and his siblings and their | ||||||
20 | spouses, Ronald and Susie Durham, Betty Johnson, and Shirley | ||||||
21 | and Walter Kehler; therefore, be it

2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
3 | Dennis Wayne Durham and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
5 | further

6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
