| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of John "Jack" Russell Whitney of Woodstock, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on May 12, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, John Whitney will be fondly remembered as a | ||||||
| 6 | decorated Army officer, a highly awarded architect, a | ||||||
| 7 | successful financial advisor, a gifted orator, and a truly | ||||||
| 8 | exemplary husband, father, and grandfather; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, John Whitney was the beloved husband of Ann | ||||||
| 10 | Rosenbaum; the beloved father of Ian, Loren, and Andrew | ||||||
| 11 | Whitney; and the beloved grandfather of Aidan, Evan, Oliver, | ||||||
| 12 | Taylor, and Schmoo; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 14 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 15 | family and friends, mourn the passing of John "Jack" Russell | ||||||
| 16 | Whitney; and be it further
| ||||||
| 17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 18 | presented to the family of John Whitney as an expression of our | ||||||
| 19 | sympathy.
