| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of James N. Vaughn of East Moline, who | ||||||
| 4 | passed away on April 13, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, James Vaughn was born in Mill Grove, Missouri to | ||||||
| 6 | Waldo "Joe" and Violet Smith Vaughn on November 10, 1934; he | ||||||
| 7 | served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and | ||||||
| 8 | married Anna Gramling in East Moline on May 21, 1955; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, James Vaughn retired from Illinois Bell as a | ||||||
| 10 | technician; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, James Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, | ||||||
| 12 | Anna; his son, Michael; and his grandson, Jason; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, James Vaughn is survived by his children, Terri | ||||||
| 14 | (LeeRoy) Arnold, Debbie Johnson, and Janice Vaughn; his | ||||||
| 15 | grandchildren, Shawn (Tanika) Arnold, Jamie (Julie) Arnold, | ||||||
| 16 | Chris (Andrea) Arnold, Joe (Angie) Johnson, and Rob (Kimmy) | ||||||
| 17 | Johnson; his great-grandchildren, Aaron, Kaylee, Kayli, | ||||||
| 18 | Trenton, Evayla, Travon, Alanis, CJ, Anthony, Zachary, Haylie | ||||||
| 19 | (Tim), Hope, Jazmin, and Evin; and his great-great-grandson, | ||||||

| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 3 | James N. Vaughn, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 4 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
