| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Jerome F. Dunne of Oak Park, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 16, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was born on October 19, 1933 in | ||||||
| 6 | Berwyn; his parents were Robert and Mary Dunne; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was a graduate of Ascension Catholic | ||||||
| 8 | School, Fenwick High School, and Loyola University, where he | ||||||
| 9 | earned a degree in accounting and business; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne served his country as a member of the | ||||||
| 11 | United States Army; he was stationed in Alaska in the 1950s; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne worked for the Sanford Ink Company | ||||||
| 14 | for many years until his retirement in 1994; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was known as the world's biggest | ||||||
| 16 | White Sox fan; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne was preceded in death by his parents | ||||||
| 18 | and 3 siblings, Dolores, Robert (Jane), and Paul Dunne; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Jerome Dunne is survived by a brother, Richard | ||||||
| 2 | "Dick", and his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and | ||||||
| 3 | great-nephews; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 5 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 6 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Jerome F. Dunne; and | ||||||
| 7 | be it further
| ||||||
| 8 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 9 | presented to the family of Jerome Dunne as an expression of our | ||||||
| 10 | sympathy.
