| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Patricia Medin of Oak Park, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 13, 2014; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Patricia Medin earned a Bachelor of Science in | ||||||
| 6 | Nursing from Concordia University in 1995; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Patricia Medin was well known for her dedication | ||||||
| 8 | to being kind and compassionate to each patient; she had a | ||||||
| 9 | special place in her heart for the elderly and touched each | ||||||
| 10 | patient she cared for with warmth, joy, and hope; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Patricia Medin enjoyed oil painting, her painting | ||||||
| 12 | lessons with her special friend and art teacher, sharing | ||||||
| 13 | stories, traveling, the outdoors, flowers and trees, and | ||||||
| 14 | spending time with her partner, her children, and her friends; | ||||||
| 15 | and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Patricia Medin is survived by her partner of 28 | ||||||
| 17 | years, Gail Zarbin; 4 daughters, Erica and Kimberly Medin, | ||||||
| 18 | Danielle, and Jorie; and 2 grandchildren; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 20 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||

| 1 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia Medin; and be | ||||||
| 2 | it further
